The sold-out quiz night event, which was held at the Mashina Lounge at Christchurch Casino, raised over $4,300 and featured entertainment from local acts, spot prizes, and several auctions.
Filling the venue, the extravaganza was hilariously emceed by flamboyant local celebrity Antony Gough and featured prizes from the likes of beauty website She Lives Cruelty Free and ethical online shop Ecostore.
Aside from all the glitz and glamour, the event also raised awareness of the dog leather and fur trade in China as well as valuable funds to help stop the suffering experienced by countless dogs.
