IT’S HERE: Domino’s Delivers Pizzas With Vegan Beef!
The wait to order Domino’s pizza with vegan meat is finally over!
After chatting with PETA and launching its vegan cheese in January last year, Domino’s trialled dozens of plant-based meats before developing its own vegan beef, now available to order nationwide on three new vegan pizzas – the Beef & Onion, the Beef Loaded Burger, and the Beef Taco Fiesta.
These tasty new menu items mean that pizza lovers can enjoy the same meaty texture without supporting cruelty to animals or contributing to one of the leading causes of deforestation and climate change.
Made from soy, the vegan beef topping is also higher in protein and lower in saturated fat than its animal-flesh counterpart.
We did the painstaking research – we’re talking “hunger pains” –and went to Domino’s HQ to taste-test these new vegan pizzas and talk to Domino’s Global Development Chef Michael Treacy. He assured us vegan beef is just the beginning…
You can order the plant-based Beef & Onion, Beef Loaded Burger, and Beef Taco Fiesta under Vegan Range tab when ordering pizzas online through Domino’s website.
You Helped Make This Happen
Vegan menu changes are almost always a testament to people power. Nearly 10,000 PETA supporters wrote to Domino’s to ask it for vegan cheese, which sold out in record time when it first hit the menu.
Meanwhile, in the UK, 13,000 people joined PETA UK to ask KFC to trial vegan fried chicken – and the company listened.
Now that Domino’s has made delicious vegan pizza available at the click of a button, why not sign our petition to get KFC’s vegan chicken to Australia, too?
