Imogen Anthony: ‘The Fur Industry Is F**ked’
Model, fashion designer and partner of Kyle Sandilands, Imogen Anthony is renowned for her out-there outfits and show-stopping red carpet appearances.
But one thing you’ll never catch her wearing is fur.
In this hard-hitting new PETA ad, shot by top photographer Elvis Di Fazio, Imogen bares all – spreading the message that you can get a killer look without killing animals.
In this behind-the-scenes video from the ad shoot, Imogen tells us exactly why she decided to stand up for animals used for fur.
Imogen is in good company, as celebrities such as Natalie Imbruglia, Olivia Munn, Pink and Eva Mendes have all used their star power to help PETA and our affiliates spread the message that fur is cruel and unnecessary.
The bloody look for this new ad, which took nearly three hours to achieve, was created by leading Australian make-up artist Becca Gilmartin.
Since Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicks off next week in Sydney, we’re sure to see fur on the runway. Imogen doesn’t hold back when it comes to her opinion on this:
Talking about why she chose to front this latest campaign, Imogen explained, “I really wanted to get involved with PETA because I’m so passionate about the anti-fur message. I’ve seen the torture that animals go through in the fur industry and I can’t stand it. The message is clear, ‘The fur industry is fu**ed’”.
How You Can Help
